Eligibility Requirements

​

  • Be 18 years or older

  • Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate

  • Clear Criminal Record Check

  • Clear Child Abuse Registry Check

  • ECE III or ECE II

  • ​Current Commit to Kids certification

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a licensed child care setting (Experience in a multi-site childcare centre is an asset)

  • A passion for teamwork, learning, and quality care.

  • Experience providing mentorship, leadership or supervision to staff.

  • Strong understanding of curriculum development, inclusion, and reflective practice.

  • Experience with the ISP program and working with children of different needs and abilities.

  • Experience with the ECE II workplace program and mentoring students within that program.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. ​​
