At Tache Early Learning Centre, we view our role as an extension of your family — offering a second home where your child can feel confident, happy, and loved while developing the skills they need for school and life. JOIN US When a space in the center becomes available, the parent(s) of the child first in line on the applicable waitlist will be contacted and offered the space. Your space is reserved only after you have registered and filled out all required forms. Once a space becomes available in our program, parents will be given a tour of the facilities including the outdoor play area. Parents will also be contacted by an educator to discuss the child’s first day. ENROLLMENT PROCEDURE: Once you have registered your child into our program, there are a few important steps to follow to complete the enrolment process: 1. Read, sign and return the Parent Policy Manual via an email that will be sent to you from Fastoche. 2. Complete the online registration forms. All required information must be provided. 3. Review the Safety Plan and Code of Conduct. 4. Upon receiving and reviewing your registration forms with either the Director or a Supervisor, you will be informed of a start date as well as review the fee payment policies. 5. A $25.00 non-refundable registration fee per family and first month’s fees are due immediately to hold your child's spot. 6. If you are applying for subsidy — complete the application in full; provide the required documentation and deliver it to Manitoba Family Services and Housing located at 102-114 Garry Street. You can also apply online at www.gov.mb.ca/childcare . Important: Verify with subsidy intake that your application has been received! Frequently asked questions What are your hours of operation? Tache Early Learning Center is open Monday - Friday from 06:45am - 5:45pm. We're closed for the following statutory holidays: ● New Year's Day ● Louis Riel Day ● Good Friday ● Victoria Day ● Canada Day ● Terry Fox Day-August Civic Holiday ● Labour Day ● National Day for Truth and Reconciliation ● Thanksgiving ● Remembrance Day ● Christmas Day ● Boxing Day We close at 1:00pm on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Additionally, because the board recognizes the importance of professional development of our staff, we close on the first Friday in March and the first Friday in June. Professional development days allow our educators to enhance their skills and continue to provide a quality program. Parents will receive a reminder email prior to upcoming professional development days. Daycare fees still apply for all professional development day closures.
