The celebration is intended to recognize the valuable work of those who “care for a living” by providing early childhood education, family support, and a service that contributes to the social and economic development of our province. It has been proclaimed annually by the Minister responsible for Early Learning and Child Care. Whether an ECE works in an early learning and childcare centre or a family childcare home, the Week of the ECE is a celebration of the important work Early Childhood Educators do with children and their families.

JOIN US ENROLMENT PROCEDURE: Once you have registered your child into our program, there are a few important steps to follow to complete the enrolment process: 1. Read, sign and return the Parent Policy Manual via an email that will be sent to you from Fastoche. 2. Complete the online registration forms. All required information must be provided. 3. Review the Safety Plan and Code of Conduct. 4. Upon receiving and reviewing your registration forms with either the Director or a Supervisor, you will be informed of a start date as well as review the fee payment policies. 5. A $25.00 non-refundable registration fee per family and first month’s fees are due immediately to hold your child's spot. 6. If you are applying for subsidy — complete the application in full; provide the required documentation and deliver it to Manitoba Family Services and Housing located at 102-114 Garry Street. You can also apply online at www.gov.mb.ca/childcare . Important: Verify with subsidy intake that your application has been received! We are licensed to provide programming for 209 children ages 12 weeks to 12 years: • 32 Infant spaces (12 weeks - 2 years of age) • 102 Pre-school spaces (2 - 5 years of age) • 20 Kindergarten spaces (attending Kindergarten) • 55 School Age spaces (Grades 1 - 12) All of our educators h ave a valid CPR & First Aid Certificate, “Commit to Kids Foundational Information for Safeguarding Children from Sexual Abuse ” Certificate and “Commit to Kids Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Training for those Working with Children ” Certificate.
